supplementary training for pre-registration trainees in
community pharmacy.
Many pre-registration trainees in independent community
pharmacies find themselves isolated when it comes to preparing
for the registration exam. Working long hours in a busy
pharmacy leaves little time to reflect on learning needs.
It is therefore vital that you take responsibility for
your
learning and development from an early stage.
Training Days
Our training days focus on major topics of the pre-registration
syllabus and examination. They are also based on feedback
from pre-registration trainees’ individual concerns.
Quality of Training Days
All our training days are designed by pharmacists.
We ensure our training programmes are continuously updated
to meet the latest requirements.
Here are some of the factors that you should expect
from our training days:
· Small groups
Our training group sizes are kept small to ensure
a high level of interaction between trainees and the
trainer.
· Handouts to reinforce learning
back in the workplace
We are committed to always delivering the highest
quality of training materials to assist the training
programme, as well as to ensure that learning is transferred
and reinforced in the workplace.
· Self-analysis and feedback
At every opportunity we help individuals understand
their current strengths and issues in order to enable
new learning to be effective.
· Maximise learning interaction with
other trainees
Mixing group sessions allows individuals to maximise
learning from fellow trainees.
Training Team
Our training team consists of a group of pharmacists
who have years of practical experience and knowledge.
Trainees will always have the opportunity to discuss
their concerns with the training team. On most training
days there will be two pharmacist tutors available to
carry out the training.

The venue is highly accessible, only a two minute walk
away from North Acton Station (Central Line)
